Right to Know Requests

Right to Know Information

The Right to Know process allows the public to request access, to inspect or to obtain copies of public record documents from a state or local government agency.

Pennsylvania's Right to Know Request law provides for access to public information, for a designated open-records officer in each Commonwealth agency, local agency, judicial agency and legislative agency, for procedure, for appeal of agency determination, for judicial review and for the Office of Open Records.
