How to Attend In Person Meetings
  • Legislative/Regular Meetings (1st Wednesday of month) are held IN PERSON at Dickson STEAM Academy Cafeteria (7301 Schoyer Ave). Please park in the rear of the building and proceed down the driveway to the Cafeteria entrance. Pictured below.

Public Comment

All public comments are limited to three (3) minutes. Foul or abusive language will not be tolerated.

In Person Public Comment (Legislative/Regular Meeting)

Anyone wishing to provide public comment on the 1st Wednesday of the month, must appear in person at the Dickson STEAM Academy Cafeteria (7301 Schoyer Ave). They should sign the Public Comment Registration Sheet no later than 6:55 pm. They will be invited to give their comment by the Council President when it is their turn. 

Virtual Meeting Public Comment (Agenda Meeting)

Anyone wishing to provide public comment on the last Wednesday of the month will be invited to join the Virtual Council Meeting via Zoom. Accommodations will be made for residents without internet access to call into the meeting. Written public comments are not accepted. 
 
Anyone wishing to provide public comment during a virtual meeting (Agenda Meeting) must submit their request to the borough admin office by NOON on the day of the meeting and provide the following information:
        
•    Name
•    Address
•    Subject of Public Comment
•    e-mail address

A link to the zoom meeting will be sent via email prior to the meeting. Please contact the borough office with any questions.

Members

Borough of Swissvale Council is made up of seven elected members, with each member serving a four-year term. Council elections are held in November every other year with newly elected officials sworn in the following January.
